This Clinic is for singers interested in adding jazz and blues into their repertoire of R&B, Pop and More!
This Clinic, taught by Grammy Nominated Jazz, Blues and beyond Vocalist and Educator Antoinette Montague, will explore all genres of songs as we reinvent them into Jazz, Blues and Swing. We’ll explore vocal placement, exercises, vocal health, soulful sounds, hollers, and phrasing or getting the “butter from the duck” of a song. More experienced, operatic, pop and R&B singers will love developing a repertoire that will help them join in on jam sessions (real and virtual) with confidence and joy, as we work it all out at “Club NSA” ! ALL types of singers wishing to branch out will learn the way to reshape and expand through vocal placement singing new songs and reinventing songs you love, helping singers to develop a show/set of music.
