Join us on Saturday, October 26th at 12:15pm in the New Hall for a musical celebration in honor of UN Day featuring Music From Around the World. To promote United Nations Day and the work that the UN is doing, there are several international events organized across the world, meetings and conferences where the achievements and goals of the UN are discussed, and exhibitions are shown to highlight the work that has been done since 1945. Schools around the globe are encouraged to host cultural celebrations of the diversity in the student and staff bodies. You can celebrate United Nations Day by getting inspired by their work and taking action yourself. Find a cause that you are passionate about, such as Arts Education at Newark School of the Arts; check out our website for more ways to donate and/or, if you can, volunteer.
