Hosted by NSA Board Members Martin Berkowitz, Trustee/Immediate Past President and Cecilia Zalkind, Trustee. The Newark School of the Arts recognized that children from underrepresented areas were lacking resources to participate in our audition-based programs. To level the playing field, we established the Nurturing Program. We provide free lessons and instruction to BIPOC children who exhibit natural talent from Newark and the surrounding areas. Join us in expanding this successful program by attending our musicale fundraiser.
