The Newark School of the Arts and the Show Me Your Heart Foundation presents the Third Annual International Music and Culture Festival in the Lincoln Park community bringing together Music, Dance, and Visual Arts from different cultures around our city and beyond. The festival will take place on Saturday, September 24th, 2022 in the NSA Campus at 89 Lincoln Park, Newark NJ and across the street in Lincoln Park. This year's festival is dedicated to the children affected by the war in UKRAINE. It will feature performances from UKRAINE Korea, Poland, Brazil, India, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and other cultures represented in the NSA's student body as well as in our city. There will be food, vendors, crafts and activities for the whole family. The event will also feature an art exhibit featuring student-created works inside the school open all day, a children's concert by musicians from the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, a Music and Movement parent and child class at 10 AM and a fundraising concert for Ukrainian children at Grace Church at 2:30 PM. All festival events are free and open to the public. This event is sponsored in part by the Lincoln Park Community Coastal District Music Speaks Program.
